This is a benevolent dictatorship!

The administrators of this site are donating their time and money to provide this platform, and as a result, reserve the right to delete, dismiss, silence, purge, or remove anyone at any time. However, we also respect and support free speech, even when it may be personally disagreeable. In reality, there's probably, and hopefully, never going to be a point where we do any censorship at all, but in the interest of protecting personal liability we have to post something. In short, don't make us and we wont have reason...it's time we could otherwise be spending on more enjoyable pursuits.

Items which would be considered inappropriate would include, but not be limited to:

1. Anything which might be considered illegal in the city, state, or country in which the poster resides.
2. Personal or ad-homenim attacks against other users, both local and remote to this server.
3. Engaging in behavior which has the PROBABLE outcome of getting this server banned from the extended "federverse" of the greater Mastodon community.
4. Overt and disparaging acts of racism for the sake of it. We are adults here and we appreciate wit and humor, even scathing, biting, sarcastic, or even offensive. However, there's a fine line between a witty meme and something that denigrates a sub-set of people based on their identity for no other reason than to denigrate. While this may be impossible to quantify, we still reserve the right to yank it if it's just wrong.
5. Pornography. This is a private platform with limited public seating. Fine line here, but let's just say there are plenty of places for porn on the internet, this isn't one of them. That said, we are not prudish here, but again...eye of the beholder, and those who pay the bills here are the beholders.
6. Spam or unsolicited commercial posts will be deleted and the offending accounts will be removed without warning.
7. Bots, parody accounts, or other similar activity is prohibited.
8. Anything not covered by the above should be covered under the first principle, "This is a benevolent dictatorship" but ideally none of this will ever even matter since we fully expect people to behave as adults.
